PROCESSO CONTRA ISABEL DOS SANTOS VAI A TRIBUNAL NOS PRÓXIMOS 10 DIAS

O procurador-geral da República, Hélder Pitta Groz, confirmou esta terça-feira, na província do Cunene, a introdução em tribunal, dentro de 10 dias, do processo-crime contra Isabel dos Santos, acusada em vários crimes durante a sua gestão da empresa petrolífera Sonangol.

O procurador, que falava à margem do encerramento da IV reunião alargada da região judiciária sul da PGR, disse que a instrução preparatória do processo se encontra concluída e elaborada a acusação, que no fim do prazo seguirá a tribunal.

Informou que nesse processo foram já notificados os advogados, aguardando-se apenas a reacção dos mesmos para se dar entrada em juízo e que “por enquanto tudo se mantém em segredo de justiça”.

Hélder Pitta Groz esclareceu que no processo estão arrolados três cidadãos portugueses integrantes da equipa que trabalhou com Isabel dos Santos como presidente do Conselho de Administração da Sonangol.

A empresária angolana Isabel dos Santos é acusada de 11 crimes no processo, que envolve a sua gestão na petrolífera estatal angolana, entre 2016 e 2017.

Ela é acusada de peculato, burla qualificada, abuso de poder, abuso de confiança, falsificação de documentos, associação criminosa, participação económica em negócio, tráfico de influências, branqueamento de capitais, fraude fiscal e qualificada.

Em 03 de Junho de 2016, Isabel dos Santos foi nomeada presidente do Conselho de Administração da Sonangol, estrutura que passou a integrar também Sarju Raikundalia, inicialmente administrador não executivo, antes de passar a executivo com o pelouro da gestão financeira da petrolífera, numa altura em que detinha participações na empresa de consultoria PwC.
