AUTOCARRO DA TCUL ATROPELA ALUNO DE 16 ANOS

O estudante Pedro Quarenta, de 16 anos, morreu, na quarta-feira, em Luanda, em consequência de um atropelamento por um autocarro da empresa de Transportes Colectivo Urbano de Luanda (TCUL), ocorrido no Largos das Escolas.

De acordo com relatos de testemunhas no local, o atropelamento ocorreu por volta das 11h00, quando o adolescente saía da escola para casa. “Estávamos a caminhar para apanhar o autocarro. Quando este viu o transporte, correu para subir, só que ficou preso na porta. Ele ainda gritou, que estava a ser apertado. Porém, quando o motorista abriu a porta para ele entrar, escorregou e caiu no chão e acabou por ser atropelado. Ele morreu imediatamente”, explicou o colega do malogrado Queza Simão.

O director do  Instituto Politécnico Industrial de Luanda (IPIL), Milton Silva, confirmou, no local, que o adolescente era estudante da instituição, onde frequentava a 10ª classe, do curso de Gestão de Sistemas Informáticos. O adolescente, disse, morava nas imediações do Grafanil Bar, em Viana.

Para Luzia Dala, que assistiu ao acidente, é preocupante, o facto de os menores terem de utilizar o transporte de forma tão desordeira, ao ponto de causar a morte de um deles. “Os adultos precisam ter mais cuidado. São adolescentes, ainda não têm tanta noção de responsabilidade”, recomendou, triste por saber que muitos estudantes estão sujeitos a tal perigo. “Tenho uma filha que também estuda numa das escolas daqui. Confesso que neste momento estou com muito receio”.

A encarregada de educação apelou igualmente a prudência por parte dos alunos, sobretudo quando estiverem diante de uma grande movimentação de veículos. Aos automobilistas pediu que tivessem mais atenção ao conduzir, principalmente em horários e locais com elevada circulação de alunos.
