O Presidente da República, João Lourenço, vai inaugurar, na quarta-feira, 20, o Centro de Ciência de Luanda (CCL) que resulta da reconversão da antiga Fábrica de Sabão, depois de concluídas as obras de requalificação.

A infra-estrutura tecnológica integra várias exposições interactivas, um planetário e um auditório com uma tela gigante para projecção de filmes e documentários com efeitos, avança o Portal do Governo, consultado hoje pelo JA Online.

Com objectivo de elevar a cultura científica da população, em geral, e de crianças e jovens, em particular, por via da popularização do conhecimento científico e tecnológico, o CCL vai, após a inauguração pelo Presidente da República, implementar uma fase de promoção do funcionamento. 

Neste sentido, durante cinco semanas algumas instituições convidadas visitarão gratuitamente as exposições do Centro de Ciência de Luanda em grupos de até 30 indivíduos cada. 

A recepção dos visitantes, previamente convidados e agendados, deverá ocorrer durante todo o mês de Janeiro de 2024.

Em Fevereiro de 2024, o CCL inicia o regime normal de funcionamento com acesso às exposições e demais atracções mediante a compra de bilhetes.
