ANGOLANO DETIDO EM MOÇAMBIQUE POR TRÁFICO DE DROGA

O cidadão angolano detido, na última quinta-feira, na cidade de Maputo, em Moçambique, por tráfico internacional de droga vai ser extraditado para Angola, informou, hoje, o Serviço Nacional de Investigação Criminal (SERNIC) de Moçambique.

“Agora estão em curso procedimentos administrativos para a extradição do mesmo indivíduo. Logo que estiver tudo organizado, ele vai ser extraditado”, declarou o porta-voz do SERNIC na cidade de Maputo, Hilário Lole, citado pela Lusa,

O homem, de 51 anos, foi detido na cidade moçambicana, depois de fugir de Angola, em Setembro de 2019, onde cumpria uma sentença transitada em julgado no ano de 2017.

O cidadão, cujo nome não foi divulgado, cumpria uma pena de prisão superior a 10 anos pela prática de crime de tráfico internacional de estupefacientes em Angola, segundo a polícia moçambicana.

Durante a detenção, o implicado apresentava vários documentos de identificação falsos, de entre os quais, os de Moçambique, Brasil, Namíbia e Ilhas Seychelles, com nomes diferentes do registo de Angola e, em outros, com a fotografia também diferente.

A acção também poderá configurar a “prática do crime de falsificação de documentos”, alertou o SERNIC, numa nota distribuída na terça-feira.
