A Comuna de Jamba Kueio, a mais de 100 quilómetros de Menongue, Província do Cuando Cubango, ganhou esta quarta-feira, 3 de Janeiro, uma escola de 7 salas de aula, inaugurada pelo Governador Provincial, José Martins.
Segundo a fonte do Jornal Fax, a referida escola foi construída no âmbito do Plano Integrado de Intervenção nos Municípios (PIIM), o complexo escolar nº111CC2 MUENE NJAMBA, estrutura de qualidade e apetrechada, vai albergar 426 alunos da iniciação à 9ª classe, em dois turnos.
A unidade de ensino, contempla 7 dormitórios já em fase conclusiva e que serão entregues brevemente para acomodar os professores, com um investimento avaliado em mais de quatrocentos milhões Kwanzas.
Os alunos beneficiários da escola, agradeceram pelo facto do governo ter colocado a sua disposição, o equipamento social, o que vai melhorar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem em benefício das suas famílias e das comunidades, como lê-se na mensagem entregue ao Governador.
O Administrador Municipal de Menongue, José Ernesto da Silva, frisou que a escola veio para suprir a procura que se assiste na comuna por parte das crianças que estudavam em condições menos boas.
Ao final, o Governador Provincial, José Martins, deu início ao processo de plantação de árvores da espécie, acácias rubras ao redor da escola que vão servir de sombra no futuro e garantir o ambiente ecológico, bem como interagiu com os habitantes, tendo frisado que a infra-estrutura vai melhorar as condições de acomodação dos alunos e professores e apelou à população local a cuidar dessa escola e de outros equipamentos que vão surgindo na comuna para beneficiar as futuras gerações.
A localidade, conta com um total de 38 professores, matriculou, no presente ano lectivo, mais de mil e dez alunos.
